On Market Kids Days, we host Nourish Kids programming in partnership with Nourish Knoxville.
2025 Market Kids Days: 7/27, 8/3, 8/24, 9/14, 9/28, 10/19
Nourish Kids provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. Kids crate positive associations with vegetables, build relationships with farmers, develop budgeting skills, and begin to influence their local economy.
Children attend the market on a Market Kids Day, sample a vegetable, do an activity provided by a nonprofit partner, and receive $5 in Produce Bucks to spend at the market.
