2026 Market Kids Days: 7/5, 7/26, 8/9, 8/23, 9/6, 9/27
The Eastside Sunday Market team strives to create fun opportunities for children to engage in the local food system through conversations with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. Kids develop positive associations with vegetables, build relationships with farmers, develop budgeting skills, and begin to influence their local economy.
Children attend the market on a Market Kids Day, sample a vegetable, do an activity provided by a nonprofit or community partner, and receive $5 in Produce Bucks to spend on fresh produce at the market.
